we'd love to tell you that kelly + olive are our decorating alter-egos. we really wish we had capes and tights. the truth is something a bit simpler: our hobby-turned-passion-turned-business needed to be called...something. we brainstormed name after name and nothing sounded right. we knew we liked the sound of “something and something,” or maybe we just fell in love with that little plus sign. either way, somebody had to hurry up and identify those “somethings”.

finally, somewhere on the internet, one of us stumbled across a picture of a room. a shockingly lovely room. a room decorated with two magnificent shades of green, shades we’d never have imagined could go together so beautifully. kelly and olive.
