As editor of a design magazine, you’d think I could stage my home for a housewalk. But the truth is, I know more about editing than designing, and it always helps to have an outsider’s perspective. Lauren and Courtney were brought in to stage our home for a neighborhood house walk. They did that—spectacularly (our home was the hit of the house walk thanks to these two)—but they ended up staging the house for our life. Lauren and Courtney made us love our place. I was remarried a year and a half ago and my husband and I had not quite incorporated all of our stuff together. Lauren and Courtney went into closets, the basement, the garage, and found treasures we'd forgotten about or overlooked. They used all our own stuff in creative and fun ways. They appreciate both old and new, and are great with both furniture placement and smaller vignette styling. They turned a mostly unused room into a place I really want to hang out. Best of all, they are a blast, with great senses of humor. They listened to our ideas and truly seemed to get us and our home, while encouraging us to think outside the box. Who knew you could put a desk against closed shutters? Who knew you could hang a piece of art from a window? Who knew my husband could get excited about decorating? Hire these gals immediately. You won’t be sorry.
 
Chuck and I (and the pups) are loving the new arrangement! It's so much more homey and stylish now. We've also been working our way through the rest of the shopping list and just ordered the bench for the entryway too. Thanks so much for your hard work! i have a room that i hated and now i LOVE! my extra bedroom in my rented townhouse didn't serve much purpose, except for a cluttered office that wasn't work-friendly nor guest-friendly. by simply adding in more functional furniture and some room decor, kelly + olive turned the room into a space that i now absolutely love! these girls have incredible instincts and impeccable taste!! they gave me EXACTLY what i wanted, and surprisingly, didn't even come close to what i thought i'd have to spend to spruce up the space. i'm so in love with it!! i get so many compliments and i actually use the space! THANK YOU!!! can't wait for your help with the rest of my place!
 
I was sick of my apartment. I had been living here for over 4 years and hadn't changed a thing since I moved in. I called Courtney and Lauren and they really came to the rescue. They asked me questions, listened to my concerns. I rent so I couldn't do anything too drastic and I didn't have a ton of money, but together we came up with a plan. In one day they had completely transformed my living space! They rearranged the furniture and rehung the art I already had and together we took a trip to Ikea. I have always been overwhelmed by this store but they helped keep me on track. We picked out a few key pieces that really pulled my apartment together. So now, I love where I live! In one day, with a small budget Courtney and Lauren transformed my once dull apartment into something much more modern!
 
oh my god. i love it so much. i am using huge amounts of restraint to not run away from all my work and start putting your plans into action. looking at all the pages makes me feel really well taken care of -- you guys put so much thought and care into this. thank you.
 
Holy frijole guys! You did an amazing job!! I love it, love it, love it! Seriously, every suggestion I love. And you even threw in some ideas for the kitchen table to boot!
